Our School on 19 November 2018 Joins Microsoft Education Day 2018 Bulgaria
The teachers of technology and robotics at the Vocational School for Computer Programming and innovation – Danaila Stamatova, Mariana Encheva and Alexander Ivanov will be presenting the project of the newest technological high school in Bulgaria at the Microsoft Education Day 2018 Bulgaria. Especially for the session with teachers we will arrange a demonstration of the educational industrial robot Dobot. Our good partner Microsoft Bulgaria will support the school in the field of hi-tech by presenting to us 15 MicroBit circuit boards based on open hardware code and with built-in ARM-based system, designed by the BBC to be used in the training of high school students worldwide. Beginning in November, the Technomechatronics club of our school is going (by making use of that technology) to work on projects concerning the development of the town of Burgas.
The conference itself focuses on the latest trends in technology and their unquestionable importance in today’s education, modern innovative schools, skills for the future, the place of robots in the classroom and many other topical issues regarding the rapidly changing educational tendencies. Leading experts from Microsoft, “St. Climent Ohridski” University of Sofia and representatives of Bulgarian educational institutions will present to the audience the current technologies in the educational process by demonstrating various innovative educational scenarios and projects. #MicrosoftEDU
